RETURNS TO NEW YORK

It became the date for every afternoon at 6:00pm when she co-anchored the most important Spanish news of the Iron Babel next to Rafael Pineda in Noticias 41 Univisión. After a decade under the warmth of Miami, Liliana Marín returns with her professionalism and charisma, characteristic of her, to share what she has learned in her more than 30 years as an award winning radio and television presenter. “Aside from presenting or reporting for the small screen, what I like is to teach; pass down my knowledge to whoever has fallen in love with this fascinating career of communicating,” she says with her typical simplicity.

In her thirty years as a journalist, Liliana has traveled half the world covering the most important news events, natural disasters and humane moving stories. One of them, about a young mother who died at sea trying to save her son so that he could reach free lands, won her the prestigious journalistic Emmy award. She also received several nominations for other important stories. Like few television figures, she received from ACE, five consecutive awards for best news presenter. Today, Liliana Marín doesn’t chase awards or recognition with the same intensity, “I continue loving my profession, but now other things fulfill me; my spiritual life, my animals, and above all my son, who is the reason of my existence and purpose in life,” she says almost broken up. Nonetheless, the media demands her professionalism and charisma; she currently runs a daily morning radio show and makes independent productions for various television channels.

“My encounter with my people will be moving,” she highlights. I received a lot support, love and admiration from the New York public and I have never forgotten that. I come with my head full of experiences and the heart overflown with joy for them.” The date is March 22^nd at Pearl Studios NYC, where a lot of fans, students, professionals or just admirers will enjoy the aura, knowledge and above all, the love that this Colombian exhales with every breath. “Come lose the fear of public speaking, learn to improvise and speak confidently and in record time,” she says.

Spring arrives in March, and with it, the freshness and sweetness of a woman who overstepped the screens to leave a mark in many hearts.

REGRESA A NUEVA YORK

Se convirtió en la cita de todas las tardes a las 6: pm, cuando co-presentaba el noticiero más importante en español de la babel de hierro junto a Rafael Pineda en Noticias 41 Univisión. Después de una década en el calorcito de Miami, Liliana Marín regresa con ese profesionalismo y carisma que la caracterizan a impartir mucho de lo que ha aprendido en sus más de 30 años como galardonada presentadora de Radio y Televisión. “Aparte de presentar o reportar para la pantalla chica, lo que más me gusta es enseñar; pasar mis conocimientos a quienes se han enamorado de esta fascinante carrera de comunicar” dice con su acostumbrada sencillez.

En sus treinta años de periodista, Liliana ha viajado medio mundo cubriendo los hechos noticiosos más destacados, desastres naturales y las historias de contenido humano más conmovedoras. Una de ellas, la de una joven madre que pereció en el mar por salvar a su hijo para que este alcanzara tierras de libertad, le ganó el prestigioso galardón periodístico Emmy, también obtuvo varias nominaciones por otras historias importantes. Como pocas figuras de la televisión, recibió por parte de ACE, cinco premios consecutivos como mejor presentadora de noticias. Hoy Liliana Marín ya no persigue galardones ni reconocimiento con tanto ahínco, “Sigo amando mi profesión, pero ahora me llenan más otras cosas, mi vida espiritual, mis animales y sobre todo mi hijo, que es el motivo de mi existencia y mi propósito en la vida” dice casi quebrantada. No obstante, los medios de comunicación demandan su carisma y profesionalismo, actualmente conduce un show radial matutino, y hace producciones independientes para varios canales de televisión.

“Mi reencuentro con mi gente será conmovedor” recalca. Recibí mucho apoyo, cariño y admiración del público Neoyorquino y eso nunca lo he olvidado. Vengo con la cabeza llena de experiencias y el corazón rebosante de alegría para ellos”. La cita es el 22 de Marzo en Pearl Studios NYC, donde decenas de fanáticos, estudiantes, profesionales o simplemente admiradores disfrutarán del aura, del conocimiento y sobre todo del amor que esta colombiana exhala con cada suspiro. “Van a perder el miedo de hablar en público, a improvisar y a hablar con seguridad en tiempo record” comenta.

En Marzo va llegando la primavera y con ella, la frescura y dulzura de una mujer que traspasó las pantallas para dejar huella en muchos corazones.
