To
talk about the spectacular career of Leonardo Rocco is to make mention of a
long list of celebrities. His enchanting character and pioneering design have
merited him a place as one of the most coveted beauty experts of the moment.
Sofía Vergara, Juanes, Paulina Rubio and Katy Perry, among others, have shone
his marvelous creations in a conglomerate of events. There is a reason why he’s
recognized as The Stylist of the Stars.
In
1991, along with his family, Leonardo opened the doors to the first Rocco Donna Salon in the city of
Rosario, Argentina, where he’s originally from. He is also the proud founder of
the Rocco Donna Academy of Beauty, one of the three most important schools in
his country specializing in hair design and aesthetics. He inherited his
father’s passion and philosophy; he was his great mentor, a stylist with more
than 50 years of experience. Leonardo became an expert in his craft by
attending the most renowned beauty academies in the most important cities in
Europe, and this is how his unique and innovative style is born.
Ten
years ago, with a suitcase full of dreams, Rocco arrived to the Sunny State,
Florida, and like many, he started from scratch. He had a lot of experience and
he knew that humbleness, perseverance and love for what you do would be the key
to success. In 2004, he launched the prestigious Rocco Donna Hair & Beauty Art in South Beach. There, he has
worked with important celebrities and has participated in popular TV and radio
shows in the Latin community.
“Us
Latinos are in season. We are at the forefront in beauty. Our flavor gives out
that glamorous and sexy touch that everyone is enchanted with. We have to take
advantage of this moment and elevate our Latin heritage,” says Rocco with great
pride.
Leonardo organizes Miami Hair, Beauty & Fashion by Rocco Donna as a way to collect funds for The Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a nonprofit entity that helps in
the fight against breast cancer; and it is love and his mission to transmit
good energy what drive him to organize such an event. For this man, beauty is
not only skin deep, it is also projected from within. “All women are beautiful.
My mission is to guide them until they reconnect with that beauty which they
have neglected.”
As a
tip to take care of your hair this season, he says: “Summer is a spectacular
season but very detrimental to the hair. A good shampoo, conditioner and a
nutritive face mask or products with keratin will help prevent dryness and the
annoying frizz. It is recommended to let the hair grow a little long during the
summer in order to use styles like a ponytail or braids which are in fashion.
For those with a darker tan, the hair color should be lighter than in the
winter. Other trends include Highlights
Ombré, a gradient of color where the hair tips are lighter
than the roots. Renew your image and style at least twice a year.”

Hablar de la espectacular carrera de Leonardo Rocco es

En 1991, junto con su familia, Leonardo abrió las
puertas del primer salón Rocco Donna
en la ciudad de Rosario-Argentina, de la que es originario. Además, es el
orgulloso fundador de la Academia de Belleza Rocco Donna, una de las tres escuelas de estética y diseño de
cabello más importantes de su país. Heredó la pasión y filosofía de su padre; su
gran maestro. Un estilista con más de 50 años de experiencia. Leonardo se especializó
en afamadas academias de belleza de las más importantes metrópolis de Europa, así nació su estilo
único e innovador.
Con una maleta llena de sueños, Rocco llegó hace diez
años al estado del sol, Florida y como muchos, empezó desde cero. Tenía mucha
experiencia y sabía que la humildad, la perseverancia y el amor por lo que hace,
serian la clave del éxito. En el 2004, inauguró el prestigioso Rocco Donna Hair & Beauty Art en
South Beach. Allí ha trabajado con celebridades importantes y a participado en
programas de televisión y radio muy reconocidos en la comunidad latina”

Son el amor y la misión de transmitir su buena energía
los que hacen que Leonardo realice el evento Miami Hair, Beauty &
Fashion by Rocco Donna, con el fin de recaudar fondos para The Susan G Komen for the Cure, una entidad sin fines de lucro que
ayuda a la lucha contra el cáncer de seno. Para este hombre la
belleza no se limita solamente a lo físico, también se proyecta desde el
interior. “Todas las mujeres son hermosas. Mi misión es guiarlas hasta que
reencuentren esa belleza que han descuidado”
Como consejo para cuidar el cabello en esta temporada,
dice: “El verano es una estación espectacular pero muy dañina para el cabello.
Un buen shampoo, acondicionador y mascarilla nutritiva o productos con queratina
ayudarán a evitar la resequedad y el molestoso frizz. Es aconsejable dejar el
cabello un poco largo en el verano para usar el estilo cola de caballo o las
trenzas que están muy de moda. Quienes estén más bronceados, el color del
cabello debe ser más claro que en invierno. Otra tendencia son los Highlights Ombré; un degradado de color
donde las puntas del cabello son más claras que las raíces. Renueva tu imagen y
estilo mínimo 2 veces al año”
