In a sunny Bogota afternoon, the Colombian actress and
social communicator, Katherine Porto,
shared her experiences, dreams and realities, always with precise words and
with that brilliance in her look that really makes an enchanting woman.
Native of Cartagena
de Indias, Colombia, Katherine is
one of the most famous and charismatic actresses of her country. Her exotic
countenance became known in Colombian TV when presenting the news and when
transmitting live for the pirate reality La
Isla De Los Famosos, where she captured the audience with her originality
and spontaneity. Thanks to the great response from the public as a presenter,
an important producer invited her to be part of the cast of a new soap opera,
this, at a time when Katherine had no
plans of becoming an actress and she rejected the offer; but her destiny
couldn’t be another and finally decided to give herself a chance acting,
without knowing it would be the great passion of her life.
Her beauty and huge talent have taken her to star in
successful series and soap operas that have been seen in all of Latin America.
She ventured in film in the Aztec country starring in the movie Siete Años De Matrimonio, a romantic
comedy where she demonstrated her theatrical abilities and was the opportunity
to debut next to figures like Ximena
Herrera, Cristian de la Fuente
and Roberto Palazuelos in Ama El Séptimo Arte.
This actress is considered one most beautiful women on
television, which has made her recipient of great accomplishments like covers

and image for famous brands. She feels fortunate of her heritage, doesn’t
believe in plastic surgery and considers beauty to be more spiritual, but her
secret to stay in shape consists of a healthy diet, physical training, good

She’s currently ready for her US debut with the soap
opera Manual Para Ser Feliz, a
production of Teleset where she’s the
antagonist and pretends to open new doors; a challenge in her artistic career
that will probably result in another Latina shining in this country. But

delicately placed in an excellent compilation of poems that are ready to be
published in her first book. Reading and writing are her great hobbies. Katherine spends her leisure time among

una soleada tarde Bogotana, la actriz y comunicadora social colombiana Katherine Porto, nos compartió sus
vivencias, sus sueños y sus realidades, siempre con palabras precisas y con ese
brillo en la mirada que la hace una mujer realmente encantadora.
Nacida
en Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, Katherine es una de las más
carismáticas y famosas actrices de su país. Su rostro exótico empezó a
conocerse en la televisión colombiana presentando noticias y luego haciendo
directos para el recodado reality La Isla De Los Famosos, donde cautivó a

novela Manual Para Ser Feliz, una
